DUBLIN, IRELAND – American Olympic rider Laura Kraut produced a display of composure and precision to win the Rolex Grand Prix of Ireland at the Dublin Horse Show on Sunday, 10 August 2025. Riding the talented mare Bisquetta, Kraut delivered the only clear round of the competition, securing victory in one of the most prestigious show jumping classes on the calendar.
The challenging course proved a true test, with 11 riders finishing on four faults and no need for a jump-off. Kraut, drawn second last to go, knew exactly what was required to take the title — and delivered with flawless accuracy. Her clear round brought the RDS Arena crowd to its feet, as the American combination claimed the coveted trophy.
Bisquetta, a 2014-born Zangersheide bay mare, is by Bisquet Balou C out of a mare by Takashi Van Berkenbroek. Bred by C. McCarthy-Winters and owned by Cherry Knoll Farm, Inc., the mare’s scope and carefulness shone under pressure, reaffirming her place among the sport’s rising stars.
This win adds another major accolade to Kraut’s illustrious career and marks a standout moment at the 2025 Dublin Horse Show, where world-class sport and a passionate Irish crowd combined for an unforgettable afternoon.
